I've been here a few times and have not been disapointed. You order at the counter and pickup when it's ready. Seating is comfortable and casual, there is some outdoor seating in the summer. Plenty of customer parking available. Staff have always been friendly and expedient. I usually order some version of traditional style taco and have found them all to be delicious. I especially like their Al Pastor. Lots of beverage options both alchoholic and not, a dessert case that looks great. I saw a torta sandwich delivered to another customer on my last visit and that looked excellent, on my list to try next time!
The food was great! Loved the horchata and flan the most! Have flan was soooo smooth! I got the chicken and chorizo burrito. It was good but it had waaay too much rice. The queso chorizo dip was so good. I also really liked the corn but it seemed pretty obvious that the corn isn't cut from the cob fresh like it should. It's probably canned corn. If they used fresh sweet corn i bet it'd be delicious! The shrimp taco was so good too! I wasn't expecting so much inside for a cheaper menu option. The ceviche was very flavorful too! Loved it
Just what I like. Simple street tacos, chips & salsa w a fountain drink. I'll be back tomorrow most likely. Just visiting Wausau for 2 days.
We really love coming to this place because the food and service are always top-notch. Every time we visit, we make sure to try something new from the menu, and we especially appreciate the variety of sauces they offer on the side. Personally, I can't get enough of their tacos. One of our absolute favorites is the Chicharrones De Harina with Valentino sauce – it's a must-try! And don't even get me started on the delicious cake they serve. It's a treat every time we come here.

Absolutely amazing food. I consider myself a typical Wisconsin guy whose favorite food is burgers and fries. After eating here several times, my new favorite food is the alambre arrachera. It is incredible. My wife loves the shrimp tacos. Everything there is worth a try.
My family and I love eating here. We often get it for pick up as well. It is always clean and the service is always great! The food is delicious and flavorful! The green salsa is our favorite! My husband loves their fish tacos and shrimp tacos. The big burritos are a big hit for us and I love the grilled pineapple avocado salad with no dressing. It has so much flavor, just adding some green salsa is perfect!
Me and my boyfriend love coming here! Food is always amazing, I love the quesabirrias and street corn 😍🔥he loves the steak burrito. Staff has always been super friendly. Last time we were there, there was a mix up where I had ordered 5 quesabirrias, and only was given the order of 3. I went to the front and explained the situation, the man up from quickly ordered 2 more without any argument and sent them out, super happy to help!!! We really appreciated that :)
I'm a huge fan of la taqueria in Rapids, but these 2 locations are totally different in taste. The food in Wausau was delicious but for me it was extremely spicy and I couldn't eat them (quesobirria tacos). Different prices too! My husband loved it but we will stick to Rapids, just was looking for a different atmosphere.
